so that was ..

First, I corrected some spelling and auto edits in last night's post..

I did my Saturday stuff.  I did get a haircut..and groceries.. and I got a message from A , inquiring how my 4th was, and asked what else I've been busy with, besides work and car repairs ...

I replied that I worked Monday and went to my new girlfriends place in Maine for the 4th, she replied "congratulations on your new girlfriend ! I’m super happy for you! !" 

She mentioned that she was in the parade and had gone to the beach a couple days and was hanging with Brian. 

I did ask what she was doing tomorrow.  I thought we could meet for lunch.. but I guess she will be busy.. as I expected.

I wanted to tell her in person to get the unfiltered reaction. 

But, I hope she knows we are still friends.

My contact with N will be limited and planned and scheduled, subject to change . .. for a while to come.

Between her schedule and my schedule and our own home obligations.  We will be lucky to spend a few days a month together. 

But, it gives us someone to call ours. Someone to share ourselves and lives with.

She is a lot like me, been working hard these past years, paying down  debt, raising kids, and now just getting it done .. work, home, and getting to the next day .

Happy with ourselves and our lives in general. Hitting our goals and not thinking too much about what we dont have. If we need it, we figure out how to get it.

Like I said.  She is smart, driven and talented. Business minded and does what is needed.

But not afraid to ask or learn how to do something new.

I am lucky she found me..and I her .

Let's see where this goes.

Next weekend is currently a bust .

She can't get coverage and is working Fri, sat and Sun.. a double Sun, and overnights on Fri and Sat

..I start on call on monday for two weeks..so can't go out of state.. but could still have a visitor..but.. no plans there. So that adds up to a month.. then Aug 2 - 8 is my road trip.. so unless she can get a week off.. no contact for another 10 days..

. ... But we belong... 

I did recover 3 + 1 vacation days..using my comp time..for the road trip.  So not counting more earned comp time..to come . . I have at least another 4 days off.. 

And I can earn comp days for on call weeks.. 

N has months of paid time off to use ..just needs the coverage and the reason.

...

So I think we will figure out our schedules and be able to have some time together.

In general.. I'm happy
