I have been working on the house  cable issue the last two days.  The system is so weird..not enough signal, too much signal.. channels nulling others .. I was able to get all the channels working.. added in the two missing router channels and finally got the quad and CNN working again.. I was able to boost several noisy channels and most looks better.

Some have odd noise again.. but maybe the ordered parts will help. 

The whole thing needs an overhaul..

I went back and fixed the final issue with the lost signal.. bad barrel.  A barrel is a adapter you add between two male cables to join them together.. well if its worn.. or the male pins are not as long as they should be, you can get an intermittent.. especially if the cable has been moved or pulled.. it just so happenes.. Brian has been working in that rack all week.. I will either replace the ends or tape the junction together... .. but the signal is good now.. up to the combiner.. then it goes to the final combiner and the signal gets noisy... So either too weak.. or the final combiner is bad..

Those are on order.

The rest of the night went well, replaced the light fixtures in sports edit room. . upgraded to LED.. and replaced 3 florescent bulbs in two fixtures in the upper conference hallway.

So plenty to do..

It was a late night due to sports causing news to go late.. so i got done at 12:05.. got home at 1:00a.
