busy Sunday

Bad start.. 

Woke up with acid indigestion..

Ribs last night for dinner.. 

Actual acid reflux! Now I know how bad it is.. had sips of water.. no help. Tried a bit of honey.. better..so had several spoons of honey.. soothing..and within 20 mins.. it didnt hurt and i didnt need to cough..

So went back to bed..propped up, till the cat came in.. finally rolled on my side and went back to sleep..Jeff texted at 9:30..said he would be over in an hour.. so I got up and dressed..

Cleaned up the house a bit..and started working on a radio.. jeff came and checked the shower out.. 

He said it looks easy.. I will order the parts. And he will bring the tools..and a crimp tool..later I ordered the valve, spout and overflow cover..all will arrive by Wednesday.

So Jeff will be back Saturday.

Maybe a couple hours..

So I went in the garage to work on Revingtons doors..replaced the bolts with smaller ones.. it is so close! 

I can close the doors..the rear door window is on the gasket. I asjusted the front and got the pitch and height correct.. just need a little more space between the doors.. the top and bottom is not touching..the middle is..cant slip a paper between them.

So.. the next try..is drill out the spare hinges..and replace them.. just drill out the threads..may be just enough.

If so.. I need to install the rear door panel I epoxied..and pull the door panel and mirror off the spare car..

And get it all installed. Make sure it all aligns and I can close the window..then pull the passenger seat..and put that in..

Only if the drilled hinges work........

I went back to the second radio, fixed one of the issues.  Found tuning instructions.. calibrated the bias..and set the power.. and the meter and the modulation.. needs a power coil.. and recieve and synth tuning.. 

.. 

Got a text from the Mini girl in Colorado last night...and today..

She asked if I was coming to Colorado this year.. if there was a Mini rally.. not this year.. just in Michigan.. and maybe the local club doing PikesPeak.. 

I could do that instead.. 

Its a thought...
