just another day

Not really, but it has been a busy long week.

I got a lot done, worked late shifts all week except Tuesday.

The change over went well .

Friday, had a few issues and got them solved and did some maintenance too. I was busy right till 11:45. I didn't bill for the :15. I thought they figured out my pay schedule..but not sure.

I did ask for MTTS off.. and I should be able to take it off..

Now if I can make travel arrangements..and reservations..

It looks like I will be going by myself, and that's a lot of driving for one.

33 hours to the start..in Albuquerque.. then the drive back from Seattle.. gonna be 3 weeks.. at least 4 days coming back..

But I will be able to visit the last of the states I need for the Continental US.. if I detour to Oregon and North Dakota..

We have kept I contact. I'm happy about that.

I decided I would not keep asking if I can visit.. though I want to go up every weekend...

I will wait to be invited..events are coming. ..spring is here, and summer around the corner.. 

The 4th.. then my trip..

Should be an eventful summer.

One can hope.

Aside from the health issues, and work..I'm hoping we are still able to keep seeing each other..and that we are more than just friends..

..

I have car issues with Remington ... Catalytic conv issues...codes.. and a leaky exhaust.. probably related..I have a lower sensor coming..and need to figure out if I'm replacing the flex pipe or patching it .

long week

NAB week. 

So the manager and the Brian were both in Las Vegas.. so..

I had to cover his shifts ..so 1:30 to 11:30 and Monday from 3:30 to 11:30.

Full week. 

But it looks like corp figured out how to work my 10 hours shifts this week..so they still overpaid las 2 weeks..so.. about $800 to the plus...

Hopefully they won't ask for it back..or dock my pay...

Their mistake not mine..

Apparently.. my belt tightening...failed..and the belt fell off .. She had to call the furnace tech.. 

I know I didn't over tighten it...but the belt was worn and probably stretched...

I suggested she ask if the belt was worn..

 She still has the rash and pain..

The Dr. Says blood tests haven't determined what it is..I still think it's shingles..

But the Dr has not made that assessment. So probably not.

Dr. Should know better than I.

Been a month..

I discussed MTTS w L..

She says they are not going. Can't ask for that much time off.

So just me, if I am going at all.

I really should. It's the corner of the US I have never been or seen. If I return through Oregon and North Dakota.. I am left with Alaska and Hawaii.. 

It would be at least 15 days driving..more like 18-20.. especially by myself.

I will ask N, but 15 days + is a lot.

As for the trip.. only 2 people I can think to visit.. my old boss in Idaho and maybe Ian in Oregon.

long weekend and an eclipse

Fortunately N's boss covered her, so we got to see the eclipse! 

Her friends picked us up and drove 2 hours to Saddleback mountain. They brought food and champagne, chairs. 

The glasses were no good, had to get a pair for myself.. but the rest was fantastic. 

A rare event, and shared with friends. 

I went up the day before , and helped N with tasks. Replaced the leaky toilet water line .. the barn water valve, tightened the furnace fan motor. And the day after I replaced the burned out ceiling fan, and mounted the fixed tire for the 4-wheeler.

Of course, I helped a bit with the farm chores, threw down some hay and filled a couple water troughs. 

It was a good weekend.

Unforgettable!

phone reset

I gave in . .. backed up the phone, download all my photos off Google.. deleted off Google  .

Then did the factory reset on this phone .

Took two or three days f

To get everything set back up..still have a bunch of apps that are ghosts.

The phone is still glitching..and the touch is intermittent..

But a bit better than before ...overall.

So, planning on going up to see the eclipse.. N planned ahead and reserved space to park, bought glasses, made tee shirts..

Yesterday, she told me she has to work Monday.. someone called out .
